What’s new to Smartr365?

This evening, we’re bringing you the latest update to Smartr365, with new enhancements and improvements. Find out more below, and make sure to clear your cache and refresh your system so you can use the new features.

Enhancements
Banking
  • Added “Other” option to the Bank Name
Conveyancing
  • Several fields now autopopulate from the Factfind:
    • Buy to Let
    • Gifted Deposit
    • New Build
    • Right to Buy
    • Second Property
    • Shared Ownership
Client Portal
  • Clients are now able to submit their Factfind at any time from the “Speak to your Adviser” side panel
  • “Lender” on the protection section has been renamed to “Insurer”
  • Questions on smoking, good health, and retirement are no longer asked on the Applicant Details or Current Employment sections
  • Removed confirmatory questions for expenditure and commitments
  • Council Tax has been added as an option for Proof of Address
  • Address History now explicitly asks for three years of records
  • Clients are no longer able to save a new mortgage without entering any information
  • Required fields are now indicated
  • Entering the page to add a new mortgage for the first time will automatically open the edit panel
    • Note: this is intended to eliminate the issue encountered where clients were adding a duplicate case by accident

Dependants

  • Reworded questioning on whether a dependant will be such for their whole life
Factfind
  • Questions on smoking, good health, and retirement are no longer asked on the Applicant Details or Current Employment sections
Protection
  • Added a new section dedicated to adding existing proptection policies
  • Gender and Date of Birth now also show on the Protection Fact Find
Bug Fixes

Banking

  • Fixed typo with Bank of Scotland

Client Portal

  • Fixed issue where banking details were not saving
  • Fixed issue where property information wasn’t correctly saving
  • Resized the “Find Address” button for post code searches
  • Fixed issue where users encountered an error entering the Banking section
  • Fixed issue where clients could change their email from the Fact Find

Conveyancing

  • Can no longer change property from the query field within the Conveyancing page
  • Fixed issue where duplicate addresses were appearing for cases with a completed past mortgage

Existing Properties

  • Now correctly has a field for valuations and Hometrack Valuations

Summary

  • Resolved spacing issue with Critical Illness cases
